Okay so you're ready to make some posts and we have a few tips to get you up and running and we'll explain a few features you may not have seen before when it comes to quoting.
We will go over pictures, attachments, gifs and adding media in their own separate thread. A link to that thread is HERE
► If you click reply on a post, the entire post will be quoted in your post
If you want to quote portions of a previous post but not the whole thing, select/highlight the text you want to quote and a small popup button with a
► If you click the reply option the text you selected to quote will appear in the new message editor
Now comes the fun part...

With multiple selections set to quote ,at the bottom of your post editor window, you will see a "Insert Quotes" option that will post in all the things you wanted to quote. This is the multi-quote function that I am sure you will grow to love once you get the hang of it.
At the right edge of the toolbar is the Preview button. It changes color and the other toolbar icons re greyed out when you preview what you are writing.. If suddenly it seems like your your screen has frozen and you can't type in your post, make sure you aren't in preview mode. Sounds dumb but I've done it a few times.
Some of the more advanced features available that might be of common use are the alignment options. They work on text and images so If you want a picture on the right with text next to it on the left, you can do that. The paragraph symbol has some different headings options to choose from too so you have may ways to format a nice looking post.
Below are all the bloody details on some of the extended tool bar options. Of the ones available, I think the inline spoiler is neat and will be probably be used the most often?
What remains below is mostly for the techies, nerds and geeks!
Select your text then hit the button - Here's the difference between inline spoiler (1st line)and "spoiler" (2nd line). In line will blur the text until it is clicked. The regular spoiler creates a button that needs to be clicked. When creating a post with these features, you will have to preview you post to see them

Quoting
Quoting mostly works like you would expect but there are some differences that are pretty slick.► If you click reply on a post, the entire post will be quoted in your post
If it is a big quote, when posted it will display shortened with a "clidk to expand" button
► If you reply to a post that already has a quote, the previous quote will not show up in your postIn other words, there are no nested quotes within quotes within quotes and so on
If you reply to a post with an existing quote only the new comments made about the quote will come into your post
At the bottom of the last post in every thread, there is a short open editor ready for you to create a new post. This is the equivalent of hitting a new reply button seen on some other forums. If you want to quote portions of a previous post but not the whole thing, select/highlight the text you want to quote and a small popup button with a
+Quote | Reply option will appear.► If you click the reply option the text you selected to quote will appear in the new message editor
Now comes the fun part...
► If you select text to quote then click the
+quote side of button that pops up, you can then go to any other post in the thread, selecttext and press the +Quote button again, and you will be able to post all the different quotes from your selection at once.

TheToolbar
Most of the toolbar icons have pop up descriptions that will help but you may not notice the three dot drop down menu buttons on some of the icon groups. These extended menus have more buttons to chose from. More on the extra options laterAt the right edge of the toolbar is the Preview button. It changes color and the other toolbar icons re greyed out when you preview what you are writing.. The Spoiler Options
In the left button group extended menu, your choices are obvious except for the last two: "inline spoiler" and "Inline code". These behave differently from the third group's extended menu options of "spoiler" and "code".Select your text then hit the button - Here's the difference between inline spoiler (1st line)and "spoiler" (2nd line). The Code Options
Similarly, the inline code and the code buttons produce different results. The benefits of code tags of either kind is you can post, uh code without the code actually trying to work. For example, the inline code and below, the regular code
