Shady’s back, back again. Looks like I’ll be the first?

Hey, it’s me, Elisabeth! Who the hell is that?​

Most know and love me and hate me as Freija, one of my several personas over the years from ATS going back to 2007 and for the last six years ago at Rogue Nation. I am also at The Landing Area and Cypherage but won’t bother mentioning who I was at Deny Ignorance because I used a different name and was banned from there several months ago.

Not that it isn’t completely obvious but in the name of full transparency I’ll say it anyway. In addition to just being me, I’m also wearing the hats of Administrator, --TBTB--, TestDummy1 and Thought Police because it takes a couple different accounts and types to start, test and setup a new forum. Oh yeah, I’m the one that did this.

I promise not to give likes to any of my forum accounts and when using those owner profiles, promise not to like my Freija account or give myself special treatment but until when or if I can bring anyone else onto the staff that puts me in an awkward position and the possibility of the dreaded moderating my own threads and posts thing so I am probably going to keep a low profile here to avoid conflicts. However, it is kind of hard to build enthusiasm and be a cheer leader to get a new site going (if it ever does) while keeping a low profile but I’ll figure it out.

Most know I do have my strong opinions about certain things but at some point, I might have to take some moderator type actions and if I do, promise to try to be fair, neutral and balanced as I can be but I’m hoping everyone will stay in line and that won’t be necessary. Any actions I do have to take will be fully explained but I am hoping to not have to go there.

With all that out of the way, I’ll move on to the personal…

I live in a suburb of the Phoenix (AZ) metro area, am 71 y/o, retired and a hobby woodworker. Single (who could stand me anyway), live alone in a bunker of sorts of my own, divorced 29 years with my ex and his wife close friends. Kid 52, grandkid 28, hate cats. Lifelong motorcyclist and superfan of Grand Prix motorcycle racing (MotoGP).

Spent half my working career in the clerical field and half self-employed in the tech industry for small business. All I do is goof off now and do dumb things like start a forum.
