Getting around the bunker here in Citadel 18 is super easy.
The navigation bar below the banner is always available. The Home and Forums Button will both take you to the main forum page. Clicking on the banner will do the same and if that somehow fails, there is a small home link at the bottom of the board.
It is hard to get lost here in the Citadel 18's off world community bunker!
That nav bar is a special place. It contains a link to your user settings and profile if you click on your name and notifications for direct messages and received alerts.
► If you hover your cursor over a thread,in a forum it will display a preview of the first post
► If you hover your cursor over a member's avatar, it will bring up their mini profile
With their mini profile displayed, if you click on their name it will take you to their public profile where you can leave a comment.
Also of importance to notice besides the What's New and Members links in the nave bar, a New Posts button is located just above the right hand side bar along with a Post Thread button that will bring up a list of all the forums you can post in.
A few of the nav bar links or buttons do special things
► Clicking on the Forums link just takes you to the main page - most of the time
► Clicking the drop down arrow on the What's new link brings up several options to choose from
But...
If you click the What's new link instead of its drop down arrow it brings up completely different stuff
And then...
A drop down arrow appears on the Forums link giving you even more options.! It is kind of crazy but fun!
One other simple and obvious things: Clicking on a forum category brings up a page of all the forums within that category. It may seem strange at first but we hope once newness wears off, you will appreciate all the many features.
