Hi, this story may be interrupted due to a couple of reasons and the reasons may become clear as I post as much as I can at a time.

Background :- My youngest daughter and our 2 grandchildren (her children) have moved out here with us. The boys are aged, Harley, 4 going on 5 and Sunny, 1 year old. My daughter is escaping a particularly nasty domestic violence incident where she was held prisoner/captive for about 5 days. No communication. Her phone was tossed in the microwave. The doors were bolted from the inside with locks. Bolts went into concrete. She escaped posting a nasty video showing the man following her downstairs with a pair of scissors with her son/our grandson Harley. She got to the car. Neighbours were present. He stabbed the front tyre of her car but lucky she had witnesses. Fortunatley Sunny was with his other grandparents at the time.

This is all Crystal Meth related. I hate drugs, always have. Coincedentally the court case is today, Monday 25th. After 4 weeks Sunny was returned to his mother following a series of drug tests to confirm my daughter was drug free. The other hurdle was it was alleged by the other grandparent that it was dangerous for him to be out here. This necessitated a visit by The Department of Children's Services (DOC's) (welfare) to check us out. Following the inspection and Q's and A's. They more or less determined that they had been blindsided. Sunny was ordered to be surrendered to his mother living here. And this occurred whereupon the subject of this story, Harley, the older brother was anxious. Imagine what he was thinking.

What has this to do with Citadel 81? Getting to it.

Explanation as to Citadel 81 short story reference :- Harley is a special needs child of the type where he is exceptionally intelligent and, by that at his age going on 5, he knows shit that blows my mind. And to further evidence this I hope a series of drawings which my wife (true love) has taken pics of and I hope I can attach here during the story.

The other evening Harley was sitting on my knee watching me go over my usual catchups on forums. He like computers, has a tablet on which he does calculations and other stuff. Now I've briefly touched the background I'll get to the meat of the subject. In first person, Aussie lingo. If you need explanation of certain words just ask. This is a true story. No fiction.

Citadel 81 Story Line :-

Scene :- I'm sitting a my computer, it has 2 large screens. Harley is on my lap intently watching as I scroll.

I hit the Citadel 81 community bunker, (H) for Harley. (P) for me. (N) for true love.

H "Poppy?"
P "Yeah mate?"
H "Thats 81."
P "Yeah, that's right."
H "8 plus 1 is 9."
P " Yeah, good man! High five!"
H "Poppy?"
P "Yeah mate?"
H (In a matter of fact tone.) "1 plus 8 is nine."
P "Good man, high five again."
H "Poppy?"
P "Yeah mate."
H "Noin Noins is Eighty ones one."
P (Eyebrows raised, thinking then a snort) "Yeah...mate." (Another high 5)
H "Poppy?"
P "Yeah mate?" (Crikey! methinks)
H "Poppy,,, what is that."
P "What is what?"

He points to the picture/background.

P "That's called Citadel 81."

Silence

P "A Citadel is where you're safe mate."
H "Poppy?.
P "Yeah mate?"
H "What does that say" (Pointing lower)
P "Community Bunker"

Silence - I could see the thought process.

P " 'Community.....Bunker'...it's a home for all the peoples to visit and talk and we all feel safe." (Me thinking off the top of my head)
H " Poppy?
P "Yeah?"
H "Is that a big train with 81 on it?" (Pointing to the pic.)
P "yeah and no. It's a big train but it stays there. It's....because it hasn't got wheels."
H "Why?"
P "Because they ....er...um...haven't built them yet????"
H (Giggles). "Poppy..you're silly."
P "Am not!"
H "Yeah you are, poppy, whats that? (pointing to the right of the pic.)
P "That's... the.... radio station. It makes music and says the news. "
H "Why?"
P (sighs) "I dunno, for all the peoples living in the houses."
H "Oh and poppy?"
P "Yes,,,mate."
H "Which one is our house?"
P "You can't see it....see those hills?" (Pointing to far in the background)
H "yes poppy."
P "We live up there."
H "Why"
P " Because and don't pick yer nose"

Silence - pondering.

H "Poppy?"
P "Yeah mate"
H "Can I have a toasty?"
P "YEP you can." NANNY!!!"
N "What?" (Harley looks towards the voice) Yeah what! (As she approaches)
P "Harley is tired and wants a toasty.
N "Yeah but I'm a bit busy"
P (Winking now lifting tone) "Harley is tired.... and.... wants a toasty.... please." (Big grin)
H "I'm not tired!!!"
P "Sorry Nanny, Poppy is tired and Harley wants a toasty down near the television and his video thingy tablet. And,,,I'll have a cup of tea and some aspirin please."

Harley hops off my lap. True love gives me a vacant look. Harley retires to his tablet thing. Nanny makes him a toasty and I get a cup of tea, Toasty smells good.

P "Harley?"
H "Yes Poppy"
P "Can I have half yer toasty?"
H "Noooo"

"Damnit"

The End.

Awesome and most excellent! Now I'm tired and want a toasty too!
