The platform seeks structural changes toward a democratic socialist republic is
drawing sharp criticism as a fundamental challenge to the U.S. constitutional system.

This is not the platform of the DNC

This comes from the DSA, Democratic Socialists of America, an activist group, not a political party.

They have 120,000 members, hardly a major political force to be too worried about or taken too seriously. Unless of course, you just want to stir up shit and associate moderate, progressive and the rest of the Democratic party with the fringe extreme far left? Seems that is what FAUX news is trying to do?

Let's play conspiracy for a moment... maybe the DSA is secretly far right extremists posing as socialist democrats to promote their ideas as those of the regular democratic party to sow fear and division? If you think about it, it would be a pretty good strategy.

Wanna bet the next thing is to associate the Democratic Socialists of America with the National Socialist Movement, a well known neo-Nazi organization.

As if MSM and Social media didn't present, portray and print Project 2025 as it was Trump's platform in 2024....
that's was a big drum I was banging on in 2024 on DI.

Tens of thousands of news stories and media mentions linked Trump to Project 2025, with a massive surge during the 2024 campaign.

There is no single definitive total count across all outlets (as it spans TV, print, online, etc.), but data shows an intense, coordinated focus:
  • Pre-debate baseline (roughly June 2023–June 2024): About 63 mentions per day on average.
  • Post-Biden debate surge (late June–July 2024): Exploded to ~1,840 mentions per day in one tracked period.

    foxnews.com
    • CNN: 36 mentions (25 days pre-debate) → 463 post-debate.
    • MSNBC: 288 pre → 1,614 post.
    • NYT: 7 pre → 75 post (website results).
    • Other networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) saw similar spikes after minimal prior coverage.
This was part of a Democratic/Harris campaign strategy that legacy media heavily amplified after Biden's debate performance.
Coverage often emphasized personnel overlaps (many Trump allies and former officials contributed to or authored sections), policy similarities, and attempts to tie Trump despite his public disavowals.

Later DevelopmentsStories continued into 2025–2026 as the Trump administration implemented policies mirroring parts of the 900+ page "Mandate for Leadership" document (with Trump’s name appearing hundreds of times in it, mostly referencing his prior administration). Analyses from outlets like WaPo, Snopes, and NYT tracked dozens of executive actions with direct parallels.

Bottom line: The volume was extraordinary and partisan-leaning in many cases—critics called it overblown given Trump’s distancing and the project’s independent Heritage Foundation origins; supporters saw it as a smear. Major outlets produced hundreds to thousands of individual stories/segments.

The nazi party didn't start big. Neither did the communist party under Marx. FYI
