Two earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 have hit west of Caracas, Venezuela within 1 minute of each other. There are multiple structural collapses in Caracas. 24 minutes later there was an M6.9 earthquake in Japan and earlier today in Willits, northern California a M5.6. Rare for that area and strongest in 5 years. The gods are angry.

Geophysicist Stefan Burns said the double earthquake sequence for Venezuela is almost identical to that of the 1812 Caracas Earthquake.
